Dear reader,
First of all, let me thank you for your visit to our web site, The Woodworking Catalog. It is the high number of visits that has encouraged us to continue working on this web site and to make a step further and create a woodworking magazine, The Woodworking Times.
This past year has been very busy for us. The Woodworking Catalog has been established in May of 1995 and has experienced tremendous growth in both content and number of visitors. It is very exciting to participate in growth of the Internet and witness the explosion of information and services available. I'm sure that the future will bring us even more excitement as the new types of Internet services are being added and the number of people connected to the Internet continues to grow.
We keep receiving numerous e-mails from you and this way we know what you really need. There is a need for a really useful woodworking content on the Internet, so we decided to provide it by creating The Woodworking Times. It is a woodworking magazine that brings you a number of woodworking articles and news from the woodworking world. I hope that you will find it useful. Please keep in mind that this is a first such project on our part, so we understand that there is a lot of room for improvement. Future issues of The Woodworking Times will contain woodworking plans and I'm sure that they will help fill the void that exists right now on the Internet. Please feel free to comment on the current issue and send us some feedback.
The Woodworking Times will be written in big part by readers, so I would like to encourage all of you that would like to participate to contact us. Whether you'd like to show the pictures of your projects, publish an article or promote your business, there will be a space provided for you. We would especially like to hear from authors interested in long term relationship.
At the end, let me thank you once again for your support and cooperation. I'm sure that you'll find The Woodworking Times interesting and with your help, we will make it a really useful woodworking magazine.
I wish you all the best in the 1996 and a happy surfing!
Eddie Sirotich
